I want everything balanced, but leave my broken class/build/powers alone!!!
Heh heh heh.... you have no idea how true this is. =)Posted 03-23-2010 at 10:55 PM by Balseraph

Rigid structure in a freeform choice system
I agree completely. No need to be "full-ranged" or "full-melee". That's why my "gimp" build dominates so many people when I'm in PvP. I'm not limited in my attacks *or* passives. If I want to go all out, then I change my build for offence. Same can be said if I want to make someone think twice that I'm an easy target. (Which changes, at the moment, only two powers - Passive ability and Aspect) I also love how people seem to think that "melee speedsters" are useless against flying people...as I demonstrate my high melee capabilities in, again, PvP. Fliers learn real quick that I not only have one, but three abilities that I can use against them at a range. Mighty Leap, Iron Lariat and Venomous Breath. :3 Versatile characters ftw!Posted 02-19-2010 at 01:34 AM by Cyrone

It's not fair, I have to pay for other people's work *rage rage*
I tossed 5 stars on there to counter that. People are the internet are frequently stupid and petty. Which is why I don't deal with that many anymore.Posted 02-02-2010 at 06:15 PM by Phlux

Look's like my blog struck a nerve. Rating 1 star and someone tried to put whine whine whine tags on it. Guess when you speak the truth the trolls come out in force
If you are going to try and attack, make a post so we can all point and laugh at you as you try to tell us your cashier job at Wal-Mart makes you a market analyst, or your ability to turn your computer on in the morning makes you a server tech.Posted 02-02-2010 at 05:26 PM by Silverspar

I agree with some of your points, specifically:
I have a lifetime to CO and STO. I feel I have gotten my money's worth as well. I wish Vibora Bay was free, but I'm not going to cry if it isn't. I will wait and see what is offered and for how much, then I will determine if I fee its worth the price.Quote:A subscription fee doesn't entitle you anything but the game,
I purchase from the C-Store all the time, and will probably continue to do so. Nothing there is REQUIRED for you to play the game. So it is with Vibora Bay, it grants more variety and content for certain levels, but again is not REQUIRED for gameplay.
Again this touches on my nerve about entitlement and the spoiled kiddies out there who do nothing but, whine, complain and rage because everything isn't handed to them on a silver platter.Posted 01-31-2010 at 06:08 PM by Phlux

An interesting hypothesis...
Raids I would love. I'd really like it if we could have bigger teams for instances, but that would mean a lot of re-balancing and a lot of prior content somewhat trivialized due to just being able to get a full team of 6-8 and just super-zerg it. Having a big SG is great but kinda sucks when you can only do things gameplay-wise with 5 folk.
Bragging rights over gear and such is a thing of the past I think. Sweet gear is sweet, yes, but WoW overdoes it and makes the ultimate *&$@ty grind for all these fancy things. WoW's real end game is raiding, which hasn't been explored much in CO yet, but then again the game ain't even 6 months old yet. There's Kigatilik, but everyone cheeses that fight!
What you do at 40 is what you make it. If you leave that decision to the average forum-folk or the majority of a game's playerbase, you'll get a lot of whining because there's nothing you're nearly forced to do once you're maxed. We both have been playing the same characters since launch, and I don't know about you but i'm not bored yet!
