Why the hell do you play an MMO?

This is a question that's entering my mind a lot lately with some of the rambunctious posts I've seen lately with people telling everyone in the world how much tehy hate grinding and farming and so forth. Well here's a question then; Why the hell are you playing an MMO and engaging in an activity that was obviously designed to not be done solo? Seriously, are you that bloody retarded? Don't you have friends to help you, or a super group, or hell, are you so strung up to not even bother trying the auction house?
This is perhaps the most rediculous thing to actually read. People complaining about an activity that was obviously intended for more than one person, and bitching because it takes so long to do it alone. No shit, that's because that was how it was designed. The only stubborn people in this process are the ones trying to say it's unfair to them.
This is just one of those bizarre things to me, why get involved with an MMO then if you are going to try and be a recluse then bitch because something that wasn't intended to be done alone you sit there and try to do alone? If you aren't going to take responsibility for yourself because you decided to do the exact opposite in this point, you have no one to blame but yourself. And then you try to come up with excuses like grinding isn't fun, acting as if this is even required to be done.
And some of the comments made, the immaturity level is high lately. So many need to just grow up now.
